Here is Chaka and I at the Akron Canton airport last night. He looks grumpy, but I’m sure he was happy. At least I think he likes me….right?
I’m glad nobody recognized me from the commercial I was in for the airport. I always fear getting mobbed by adoring fans when I go there now.
So, we’ve been on the road 14.5 hours so far. From Ohio, we hurried through Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma. We just passed through Oklahoma City, and got on Interstate 40. That gives us a straight shot through Texas, and into New Mexico so we can pick Todd up at the Albuquerque airport at 9:30 AM.
Chaka thinks I made some wrong turns in St. Louis, but really I was just trying to see the St. Louis Arch from every side (mission accomplished).
This one got me to thinking of the carnage it could create when granny slams on the breaks for a bonfire in progress.
Of course, my favorite sign was speed limit 75!
